AUDITIONS: DANCE CONCERT FALL 2026

Who: All dancers - declared major/minor not required!
What: Auditions for Fall Dance Concert 
When:  Tuesday, September 1, 2025, 6:00 - 10:00 PM
Where: Betts Theatre, University Student Center, 800 21st Street NW

Please come in dance clothes and bring your schedule; you will be asked to share your weekly availability when you arrive. This is the best opportunity to get to know the wonderful community that is the GW Dance program!  

*The stage floor of Betts can be rough on bare feet when the marley floor isn't down so we encourage dancers to bring socks they can dance in. 

Weekly cast rehearsals generally meet twice (2x) per week for up to two (2) hours per rehearsal, beginning the week of auditions through (approximately) the end of October.* From early November through the final show, rehearsal commitments increase to support production/technical-based rehearsals, including space-in 

(11/2- 11/5, "tech" (11/7 - 11/18), and dress rehearsals (11/10 - 11/11). Additional information will be shared upon casting.

PERFORMANCES Thursday,  November 12, and Friday, November 13 at 7:30pm, and Saturday, November 14 at 2pm 

*Choreographers may also use this audition to cast for future projects and projects that occur outside of Betts Theatre! The duration of engagement for those rehearsal processes may be different from above based upon the project's tech schedule and performance date(s). This information will be communicated during the casting offer.
