University Dance Company Auditions

The University Dance Company (UDC) auditions will be held Wednesday, August 26 at 5:30 p.m. in Robinson Center, Room 242. All majors and experience levels are welcome to audition. Expect audition material to use ballet, modern contemporary, lyrical, and free, improvised dance styles. Try out to be cast in the UDC Fall Concert slated for Nov. 20-22. Auditioners need to sign up using a (free) Casting Manager website accessible through dance.ku.edu/auditions

• Ashley Brittingham 
• Christian Boudreaux 
• Jane Barnette, Thomas Jenson & Ariel Nereson, who is associate professor of dance at the University at Buffalo
• Junichi Fukuda, professor of dance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee 
• Maya Tillman-Rayton 
• Student group MOVE @KU, which will hold its auditions directly after UDC Auditions
  Unless otherwise indicated, choreographers are KU faculty members or graduate students.
  
  There will be a mandatory UDC cast meeting at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 28.
