How Science Can Improve Health for Women … and Men

The Speaker
Holly A. Ingraham, PhD, is the Herzstein Professor of Molecular Physiology at the University of California, San Francisco. Her research focuses on hormone-responsive nodes in the brain and peripheral tissues that impact metabolic, skeletal, and gut physiology and women’s health. Through question-driven basic science, Ingraham has uncovered how hormonal fluctuations lead to adaptive responses in females across their lifespan.
