U.N. Under-Secretary-General presentation: What Kind of Eduation and Infrastructure Do We Need to Realize AI's Promise?

Amandeep Gill, United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Special Envoy for Digital and Emerging Technologies, will be giving a presentation entitled "What Kind of Education and Infrastructure Do We Need to Realize AI's Promise?"

Under-Secretary-General Gill will be interviewed by Provost Nathan Urban. This event is co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost and the LU/UN Partnership. Attendance is free to the Lehigh community.

Under-Secretary-General Gill was appointed by the UN Secretary-General to lead tech initiatives; he spearheads global digital cooperation, AI governance, and implementation of the Global Digital Compact. He’s visiting campus as the keynote speaker in the Lehigh University/United Nations Partnership Ambassadorial Series. More than 30 Ambassadors to the United Nations have presented to the Lehigh community in support of this global programming initiative.
