Welcome to the 2026 Decatur Fair! All STUDENTS are invited to join in the fun!
City of Decatur leaders and businesses will come to campus next Wednesday to greet the class of 2027. Each business will display its merchandise or services and provide sample giveaway items for students. This event will be held Wednesday, August 26, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Alston Campus Center.
The College's Office of Internship and Career Development will also be ready to connect students with part-time jobs at local businesses via Handshake, the college's job board. A brief program with remarks from President Leocadia I. Zak, Chicora Martin, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students and City of Decatur Leadership will begin at 5:45 p.m. The program will include music, drawings for prizes and giveaways for our first-year students. Please bring your Agnes Scott ID to participate. You must be present to win.
This event is hosted by the offices of Special Events and Community Relations, Internship & Career Development, Center for Leadership, Engagement and Service (CLES) and the Decatur Business Association.
