Corvallis Kaleidoscope

Corvallis Kaleidoscope is a vibrant celebration of science, art, culture, and research. It’s an opportunity for STEAM researchers, creators, and educators from OSU and local organizations, to share their work with the community in engaging and creative ways. By partnering with the Graand Kinetic Challenge - presented by daVinci Days, and Maxtivity, the Kaleidoscope highlights the intersection of STEM and the arts, continuing Corvallis’ tradition of celebrating creativity and innovation.

 

• What: A dynamic festival showcasing STEAM research, innovation, and creative endeavors from OSU and other local organizations.
• When: Saturday, July 18, 2026 –annually, third Saturday in July 
• Where: PRAx – OSU’s hub for integrating arts and humanities with STEM.
• Why: To nurture trust in science, foster community engagement, and share widely the societal benefits of Research & Development)

 

Attendees will enjoy hands-on activities, cultural experiences, and direct engagement with researchers, creators, and educators from OSU and local organizations. The goal is for attendees to build trust, awareness, and excitement with science, research, and the community. 

• Interactive STEAM activities and demos based on local research and art.
• Community art projects with Maxtivity.
• Robotics competitions and hands-on exhibits.
• Direct dialogue with OSU and local researchers, innovators, and artists.
• Graand Kinetic Challenge race.
