Unit III: Mass Appraisal

Mass Appraisal (18 hours) The mass appraisal course is designed for practitioners who either work in the Assessor's office or are involved in the valuation of property for Ad Valorem tax purposes. The course consists of detailed instruction on methods of valuation used in mass appraisal, how to delineate neighborhoods, both specific and general data needed and how it is used in the mass appraisal process. It also provides understanding and experience in statistical procedures used to analyze data for an assessment/sales ratio study.
