Add to calendarU Innovation is hosting Inspiralia (Inspiralia.us), a leading global advisory group that assists companies in accessing innovation financing. If you have considered commercializing your lab innovation, this workshop is for you. Inspiralia will share their insights on the recent reauthorization of the SBIR-STTR funding mechanism by the US federal government, which provides non-dilutive capital to companies to advance their technologies to the market. The team from Inspiralia will also be available to meet 1:1 with faculty who have launched, or are considering launching, spin-out companies based on their research to advise them on the SBIR-STTR process for their projects.
Inspiralia will present a workshop from 9:00 - 10:00 am. From 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, the team from Inspiralia will hold 1:1 meetings with faculty who have launched, or are considering launching, a spinout company. Time slots are available on a first come, first served basis.

Please note: this specific workshop is aimed at biomedical projects. A second workshop later in the academic year will focus on non-biomedical technologies.
