Resident Nail Bootcamp

Program Details:

• Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026
• Location: Miami, FL
• Faculty: Dr. Brian Morrison, Dr. Antonella Tosti, and Dr. Martin Zaiac

The one-day curriculum includes:

Morning Session: Didactic lectures on how to approach diagnosis nail disease and practice procedures, including instructional videos covering:

• Nail Bed Biopsy
• Tangential Shave of the Nail Matrix
• Lateral Longitudinal Excision
• Nail Avulsion

Afternoon Session: Hands-on training in our anatomy lab where residents will be able to practice nail procedures under our expert guidance. These procedures will count toward residents' procedure logs.

• Cost: $300 per resident (includes lunch)
• Limited to 40 participants

Our aim is to help residents feel more comfortable diagnosing and treating patients with nail disease - this includes diagnostic biopsy!
