Workshop 2 — Pattern, Textile + Belonging
Led by Textile Artist and Designer: Krysten Lee
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore how traditional needlework and textile-making can become a way to express memory, emotion, identity, and belonging. Through stitching and pattern-making, participants will transform a personal story, feeling, or memory into a handmade textile pattern.
The workshop connects traditional craft with contemporary design thinking and invites participants to consider how making by hand can preserve stories, cultural references, and personal experiences.
No previous textile or sewing experience is required.
