Stop by the museum on National Fossil Day! Ask for a gallery guide at the Visitor Services desk, then embark on an adventure through our Fossil Hall. Explore ancient fauna from the Pleistocene and Holocene epochs as you search for saber-toothed cats, giant ground sloths and more. This self-guided activity is fun for visitors of all ages!
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend University of Kansas sponsored events. If you require a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this event, please contact Natalie Vondrak, nvondrak@ku.edu.
We are located at 1345 Jayhawk Boulevard on the KU Lawrence campus, next to the Kansas Union. You may download a KU Parking Map which indicates multiple locations. The free KU and Lawrence buses stop at the KU Memorial Union, right next to the museum. We also have a bike rack available in front of the museum.
