06/17 Palo Alto: 1150 (Single) 1700 (Single+bath) 1900 (shared+bath)

Our place is at Walnut Drive and Embarcadero. It is 10 minutes to campus and 16 minutes to Hoover Tower on the most direct bike route (which involves biking on the sidewalk of the “freeway” that is Embarcadero). This is the route we most often take, and it is very safe when there is daylight. At night we often elect to take proper roads, so you’re looking at around 15 mins to campus and 20 to Hoover Tower.

The current room situation is as followed. The house has three rooms (Fireplace Room (no actual fireplace), Georgia Room, and Corner Room) sharing a bathroom and a fourth room (the Swedish Room) with their own bathroom. We have three options up for grab:

1. One single room (the Corner Room) for $1150. Shared bathroom with two more people. Available Jun 17 2017 to Jun 17 2018.
2. One shared room (the Swedish Room) for $1900. Own bathroom. Available Jun 17 to Sep 17.
3. One room (the Swedish Room) for $1700, own bathroom. Available Jun 17 to Sep 17.
   [2) and 3) are mutually exclusive. ]

Utilities are about 80 bucks a month (hydro, water, and internet). If you’re arriving a few days earlier and don’t mind a futon for a couple days we’ll throw that in for free.

A bit about us.
I’m a research fellow in econ at Stanford. I cook a bit, am a fun-ish person (more about that). I tend go to sleep early and wake up late. I also play and record lots of music, but everything is plugged into headphones if there are people home, so you shouldn’t worry. The remainder of my time I play video games and read, so I won’t be loud.
The other remaining roommate is a grad student in CS at Stanford, a super fun guy (so fun he’s rarely home, so you’ll never hear him either). We (139 Walter Hays) have also thrown multiple house parties, each was a smashing success. So yeah… we’re fun people!
