We have one bedroom available for rent in a three bedroom house starting December 1. The house is in a residential area of Redwood City, about 2 miles from downtown off of Woodside Rd. Additional details about the room/house:
- Lease starts Dec. 1 and has a one year duration
- Rent is $1030/month
- Utilities, including monthly cleaning range from $100-$120/person/month (usually on the higher end if the heat is run, of course)
- Bathroom is shared with one other roommate
- There is heat but no A/C
- Plenty of street parking
- There's a garage with plenty of storage space and we generally rotate using it if someone is out of town for more than two days since longer-term street parking is not allowed
- Laundry in the garage
- There's a backyard, porch, BBQ, and patio furniture
- Two roommates are staying on the renewed lease, so we have communal furniture already but would be willing to accept some
About the roommates living there:
- I'm a F in my mid-twenties working with a financial technology startup's partners in Africa. I travel frequently for work so am only home in the Bay Area about 50% of the time and I work from the office when I am. I'm a big outdoors enthusiast - backpacking, kayaking, mountaineering, you name it!
- The other roommate is a M in his thirties working as a physicist. He also spends a lot of his time outdoors and training for iron man races.
- We are clean, non-smokers, and generally speaking, non-partiers (definitely enjoy beer & wine, but we generally only have a couple of people over at a time) and are looking for a roommate with a similar lifestyle.
