I'm moving away from the Bay Area and looking for someone to take over my portion of an apartment lease for the months of November and December (11/1/17 thru 12/31/17). There is a possibility to extend the lease in January 2018.
I share this apartment in Midtown Palo Alto with my awesome roommate (25F). The apartment is in a great location-- walking distance to Safeway, CVS, Walgreens, Starbucks, and lots more (<5 min); Caltrain (~15 min); a short drive to the 101 (~5 min), and biking distance to downtown Palo Alto and Mountain View (~15 minutes).

The process will be to establish a good potential fit via email, come see the place and meet us, submit an official application to our landlady that includes a credit check. The last bit is just how we have to handle it to put someone else on the lease and take me off. We can't just sublet, unfortunately. An extension of the lease beyond December depends on our landlady, as she has to meet the new tenant and decide/approve. So for now November-December, but if you're looking for a place beyond December then we have the potential to accommodate that.
