1 bedroom in a 2-bedroom apt. in Mountain View for 900 per month

Hello, I live in a 910 ft., 2-bedroom condo in Mountain View and am looking for a roommate starting mid-August (although that date is flexible). The apartment is in a nice quiet neighborhood, about a ten minute bike ride from Caltrain and the restaurants and pubs on Castro Street. It is also just around the corner from a Safeway. I have been using the second bedroom as a "study room," so it is currently furnished with a pull-out sofa bed, a couple of end tables, and a desk. The person that takes the room is welcome to either use the furniture currently there, or I can completely clear out the room.

Along with the apartment, you would be allowed access to the condo association's year-round pool, a playground, and a meeting area. Also, the apartment has a nice kitchen and den area that opens out onto a patio overlooking the pool and the backyard.

To tell you about myself, I am an almost 29-year-old postdoc at Stanford and lead a pretty quiet life, although I am not opposed to going out and having fun. I love to cook, read, and write. One of the critical aspects of the apartment is that I have two cats and a dog, so I am looking for someone that loves animals! Other than that, I am pretty flexible.
