4 working professionals (2 high school teachers a project manager, a data analyst) and a dog are looking for a roommate to share their 4 bedroom/2 bath house in Cupertino near Steven's Creek and DeAnza (near Apple!). Rent will be $1,050 for the room + ~$60/person for monthly utilities, and we are looking for someone who can commit to a year lease (August 1st, 2018-July 31st, 2019, with a possibility to move in a little sooner).
House: located in single family home neighborhood. Common spaces include office, living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room. We switch off on the garage every month and there is also ample street parking. We have a front lawn and small, private backyard with citrus trees around a patio and deck.
The Rooms:
-10 x 10 with a small closet and large window facing the side yard (view of street blocked by a fence and trees). Available late July or August 1st at the latest.
-Additional closet & storage space outside the room.
-Shares the hall bathroom with two other occupants.
What's close: Freeways 280 and 85. Mainstreet Cupertino, Safeway, Target, Trader Joe's, Sprouts, Whole Foods, Ranch 99, Philz, Starbucks. Cupertino Library, 85 Degrees Bakery, Apple.
About us: we have monthly bonding events (i.e. laser shows, escape rooms, food trucks, restaurants, etc.) and birthday celebrations as a house. We often play board games on Friday or Saturday night together.
We are
-one high school Spanish teacher (female, 31) married to a project manager (male, 33)
-one high school English teacher (male, 31)
-one data analyst (female, 23)
-one dog (male, almost 9): 30 pound mixed breed, sweet and cute. Enjoys long walks.
House Expectations:
-Chore calendar to split up the responsibilities of upkeeping the house. Switches monthly
-House norms (around quiet hours) since sleep is precious to us
You: Our preference is for a mid 20s- early 30s, working professional with a 9-5 type schedule. Clean, non smoker, dog friendly, respectful. Social and open to having fun with roommates!
