This bedroom is available immediately. I've been living here for about 4 months now and enjoyed every single day. The reason why I move out is simply based on my changed financial situation as I found something even cheaper.
Considering its location, the layout, and furnishing by all means this place is anything else than expensive.
The place:
Furnished bedroom, with adjacent bathroom available immediately, all utilities are included; usually rented for $1100, currently the owner is willing to negotiate down a bit.
3-4 months or longer preferred; most suitable for Stanford scholars, students, but the space is available for everybody who's interested.
The townhouse is located in an upscale, quiet, green neighborhood in mid-town Palo Alto, close to the mid-town shopping center (walking distance); a delicious coffee place is just around the corner (Philz Coffee), Safeway 2min with the bike, Stanford University 10min with the bike, Caltrain station 5min with the bike, bus stop around the corner;
The entire house has just been freshly renovated. House is updated and has 3bedrooms/3baths; hardwood floors; dishwasher, washer, dryer; sauna; designer’s touch, new kitchen, laundry, garage for storage (bike); all utilities (high-speed wireless internet, digital cable TV, etc) included.
Plenty of parking on the street. We do not have pets.
The people:
Currently there are 2 people in the house: a 'housekeeper' - women in her 30s, respectful and considerate, kind and friendly, balanced, easy going; and a 16-year old young man (fun, musical, mature). Both are considerable and fun; both love guests and are very welcoming – but are respectful of space and time. We’ve had housemates (Stanford visiting profs, students, post-docs) in the last 2 years – and enjoyed their stay.
Please no smokers, no drugs, no pets (cat maybe OK, with special arrangements).
