Hi,
I'm looking for a roommate to share a spacious 2BR, 1BA apartment for move in Sept. 1, with 1-year lease.
Rent is 1050$ + utilities.
Here are some of the perks:
- Renovated, clean, spacious apartment with 2BR, 1 BA, a real kitchen (can be closed), dining and living room.
- High quality kitchen and bathroom with granite counters
- Large living room
- Both bedrooms comfortably fit a queen-sized bed and a big desk
- Multiple closets, storage space
- Large private balcony
- Dishwasher! Garbage disposal, Microwave, Fan, Range
- Second floor apartment.
- Unfurnished right now (I have almost everything you'd need in a kitchen and already some basics for living and dining room. I have an oil painting I'd like to put up. We can decide together how to design the common spaces.)
- Hardwood floors
About the area:
- 12 minute bike ride to Stanford main quad via bike lanes [1]
- Nearby 24/7 Safeway and Trader Joes (~2 and 4 minute walking distance), so grocery shopping is super easy
- Downtown Menlo Park and Caltrain train station are within walking distance
About the premises
- One covered parking space for one car available
- Communal apartment plots available for some gardening
- Laundry available in the building
About me:
I'm a friendly, easy going and hard working PhD student at Stanford. Other than my research, I actively enjoy traveling, photography, art and downhill biking among many other things.
I enjoy interesting conversations and people who are passionate about what they do as well as socializing on weekends.
I prefer relatively quiet weeknights and clean common spaces (kitchen, bath, living room).
I'm looking forward to finding a new roommate to create a friendly atmosphere in our new apartment :)
Please respond with any questions you might have and a description of yourself.
