$1225 Room for Rent Downtown Palo Alto!

Potential roomie! A 13x13 bedroom in this 4 bed/2 bath house will be available starting September 1st, 2016. One of our roommates is moving out, and we're looking to replace her with someone who doesn't suck.

The very-walkable area:

• 5 minute walk to Whole Foods, Peets Coffee, restaurants, a cobbler (A cobbler? What is this feudal Italy? But seriously, I go there all the time; who knew cobblers were so useful...)
• a dry cleaner and a seamstress right around the corner, my dentist is a stone's throw away...
• 7 minute walk to University (main strip of downtown PA), Police Station (safety third!) and Philz (hipster coffee, but so good. I mean, I'm there right now. What does that say about me and my skinny jeans?)
• 10 minute walk to the Caltrain station, access to San Jose, San Francisco, and the greater Bay Area.
• 10 minute bike ride to just about any class at Stanford, door to door
• a pokestop accross the street that you can swipe from your bed.

The room:

• large room, like 13x13 with two corner windows (makes for awesome reading nook) and a walk in closet
• you would share a bathroom with two of us, that has a separate vanity

The House:

• hardwood floors throughout
• central heat
• fireplace
• A/C for livingroom/kitchen that I installed last year
• in unit washer & dryer (new)
• dishwasher (old and crappy)
• basement for storage
• backyard
• shed in back yard (still figuring out what to do with this)
• hot tub
• 120" projector silver screen mounted outside viewable from the hot tub
• 2x orange tree
• lemon tree
• fat lazy cat with tons of personality to hang out with when there are no hoomans (see pictur)

The Roommates:
me, male mid 30s grad student at Stanford, then two 20-something gentlemen professionals, one in tech and the other in some private equity thingy. I just call him a stockbroker because it's easier and finance scares and confuses me. We're all pretty damned good people who get along with pretty much anyone, but our roommate that is leaving us is amazing. We want someone who can come into the fold, not just be a tenant.

The Catch:
No kids, no undergrads... no one under 25, really. If you are, you better come with a compelling email!
No summer leases, or anyone looking for less than a year of housing.
No couples
No new pets. The one cat alone is enough allergens, and he haaaaates dogs. I mean, he's blind and he usually doesn't know when one is in the room, but still.
Utilities are about $150/mo rough estimate
