$1395: Short Term Furnished Private Bedrooms (8 min drive to Stanford)

If you need a place (for a few months) that is 7-10 minutes driving distance from the Stanford Campus, and that is situated in a peaceful and nice Palo Alto neighborhood, this is yours. It is a private room that you will own all to yourself in a 5-bedroom house. If you will be using just a bicycle, that's fine...not a problem. You won't be the only one who does this. The house is a 15 minute bicycle ride away from Stanford, and you will have a place to park your bicycle within the house premises / compound. Rent duration can be extended after initial 3 - 5 month period.

Two rooms available. For each, we offer you a nice furnished bedroom in a 5 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom house in Palo Alto. Bedrooms are not shared. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Peet's Coffee, Starbucks, Safeway, Walgreens and a myriad of other stores are in walking/biking distance. Your room will include a huge wall closet, a large mattress, a chair, and a desk. You may use beddings provided or come with yours; either is fine.

Room 1 move-in date: Jan 1, 2015 ($1395 + separate $85 for all utilities). Deposit required; same amount as rent.
Room 2 move-in date: Jan 20, 2015 ($1395 + separate $85 for all utilities). Deposit required; same amount as rent.

We're young professionals living in a house owned by one of us, an alum of a nearby university, who uses the house as a living and working (startup) environment. We're research professionals, interns, and exchange students at Stanford, in the fields of science and technology. So if you are a tech lover, tech intern, or especially if you're an entrepreneur yourself or always wanted to get the startup experience, you fit right in. We also have a friendly cat. We do not heat our home.

We cannot have smokers, and would prefer if you're respectful, thoughtful, and orderly.
