$1425 Seeking chill roommate for wonderful house

Please Read the post and e-mail me a bit about yourself. We just moved into a fantastic house, and are looking a great roommate to make it a wonderful home.

About the house: The house is a beautifully well maintained 1920's house with modern appliances and a brand new bathroom, and wonderful charm. It has built in cabinet in dining room, and stain glass windows in living room, and dining room. Large kitchen. Gas stove, new dish washer, fridge all included. Separate laundry room with washer and dryer. Central heating ( with cooling fan.) and fireplace (need to get it working).. Small front yard with shared back yard (there is a separately rented cottage in the back). The pictures don't really do the house justice in my opinion (will have some ones of the empty house soon). Pets are negotiable but not preferred.

Easy walking distance to California avenue Caltrain, downtown Palo Alto, great local shops/bars/coffee shops. Close to 101 and very close to 280. Quite neighborhood but very centralized.

There is one bedrooms available. It is about 9 by 10 and is in the rear of the house with wonderful natural light and a view of the garden. The room as a big closet just outside the door and has exclusive use of the brand new bathroom. The bedroom will have first priority on a newly built bathroom which one gets to through the living room. It is also possible to have the room partially furnished with a bookcase, bed and desk (small extra one time fee).

I am looking to have a relaxed, fun house, where we can feel a part of an independent mini community. I love playing board and card games as well while listening to records on my awesome speakers. Good for a stimulating conversation or swapping crazy stories over a beer, bowl, or coffee, a fun night of board games, or watching basketball or movies. I very much like listening to music, particularly classic rock on vinyl as well as the Grateful Dead and Phish. Bonus points if you are into these bands. Also, I am very interested in outdoor activities, and like to remain fairly active. Overall, I am relaxed about cleanliness, meaning I like to keep the place clean, but I also recognize there is a lot of fun stuff out there and if a dish or two is neglected I'm not going to stress about it. A good sense of humor is a must.

About me: I am a 24 recent graduate of a master's program and starting a job in technology in Silicon Valley down in San Jose. I will be making the Cal Train commute and occasionally working from home. I am a transplant from Oregon, and a big Blazers fan.

The other roommate works for Tesla in inside sales, just finished Lewis and Clark, and is an easy going fun loving guy into sports, the outdoors, and all things automotive.

There is a cottage in the back with a chilled out 29 dude with a full beard, a fridge of beer, and a lot of laughs.

This is going to be a fun, relaxed house and we are really looking for the right person to fit into this housing dynamic.

About you: Prefer like minded, stable and employed young professionals/students with good credit and rental history. Please no excess baggage and sorry no couples, though we could entertain two people sharing a room if they were the right two people. Security deposit was two month's rent, so will need to have $2,850 for security deposit, plus $1,425 for first month's rent. Monthly is $1,425 plus utilities. You would also have to be willing to sign onto a year long lease. We are in the process of moving in, and would like to get the roomate situation settled ASAP. I am a vegetarian and prefer to have the home be leaning more towards the vegetarian/not cooking meat all the time side of things, but this isn't a deal breaker If this sounds like a good situation for you please drop me a line with your phone number and let's see if we connect.
