Potential roomie! The master bedroom in this 4 bed/2 bath house will be available starting May 1st, 2016. One of our roommates is moving out, and we're looking to replace her with someone who doesn't suck.

The very-walkable area:

• 5 minute walk to Whole Foods, Peets Coffee, restaurants, a cobbler (lol a cobbler what is this 16th century Italy? but seriously, I go there all the time. Who knew cobblers are so useful?), a dry cleaner and a seamstress right around the corner... my dentist is a stone's throw away... etc.
• 7 minute walk to University (main strip of downtown PA) and Philz (hipster coffee, but so good)
• 10 minute walk to the Caltrain station.
• 15 minute bike ride to any class at Stanford door to door (I can get to the main quad in 10)

The room:

• large room, like 20x20 with a huge window and its own entrance (the last two tenants converted the entrance to storage)
• private full bath with soaking tub and huge mirror

the house:

• hardwood floors throughout
• central heat and A/C for livingroom/kitchen that I installed last year
• in unit washer & dryer (new)
• dishwasher (old and crappy)
• basement for storage
• backyard
• shed in back yard
• hot tub
• 120" projector silver screen mounted outside (we do movie nights! I'll be screening the live feed from Coachella and watching LCD Soundsystems from the hot tub tomorrow. Be jealous.)

• fat lazy cat with eyesight issues to cuddle with

Roommates:
me, male mid 30s grad student at Stanford, then two tech professionals: a mid 20s male and an early 30s female. We're all pretty damned good people who get along with pretty much anyone, but our roommate that is leaving us is amazing. We want someone who can come into the fold, not just be a tenant.

no couples, the girl roommate says female preferred, but is she writing this ad? I don't think so! So, whatever.
No new pets. The one cat alone is enough allergens, and he hates dogs.
