$1675 Room in Newly Remodeled Apt - September 15th or October 1st

I'm looking for a roommate (female preferred) for a two bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment in Menlo Park starting September 15th or October 1st. This is a 4 month lease ending at the end of January with the option of extending for a year. Please read the whole post before contacting me! If the listing is up, it's still available.

The apartment has been newly remodeled and is on the first floor of a small complex in a great neighborhood in Menlo Park. Trader Joe's, Safeway, and downtown Menlo Park are only a 10 minute walk away and it's a 15 minute bike ride to Stanford. The Menlo Park caltrain station is also just a few minute walk away. There's a covered parking spot as well as plenty of street parking. We have brand new appliances including a dishwasher and washer/dryer in suite. The apartment is mostly furnished in the common spaces, and I welcome your furniture if you want to bring anything.

The bedroom is unfurnished. There's a good size closet as well as a linen closet in the hall (there are other shared closets in the apartment - there's no lack of storage). You will share a bathroom with one other person who only uses it for the shower.

The rent is $1675 plus around $50-60 for utilities/internet. The security deposit is one month's rent.

I'm a late-20something professional and work in San mateo at a tech start up. I enjoy running, cooking, volunteering, DIY, and netflix binges. I'm an organizer for a meetup, so I like to occasionally have people over for DIY night, dinner, or game nights. I'm looking for someone who enjoys sometimes hanging out in the evenings and is fairly neat/respectful of keeping a clean space.
