We are renting a room in our house in Menlo Park. The house is located in a nice neighbourhood next to Atherton within easy biking distance of Facebook, Stanford University and SRI in a great part of Menlo Park.
My wife and I are both professionals in our late 30s. We like to stay active and watch some good TV as well. We're pretty social but also quite busy. A month to month arrangement with a minimum of 3 months is ideal. The room will likely be ready to move in about a week.
The house has 3 bedrooms and tons of natural sunlight and hardwood floors throughout. The second bedroom is for rent. The third bedroom is kept open to use as a study or for occasional guests. You would have a private bathroom. The house has a small gym with exercise equipment and a nice large deck with a gas BBQ and charcoal BBQ. There's a washer and dryer in the house. There's an electric piano (with headphones).
We want to share the house instead of just having a tenant so all common areas are available to you. We are looking only for a single occupant (unfortunately no couples or families). Unfortunately dogs and cats are not allowed. Utilities are included in the $1500 monthly rent.
