1BR in 3BR house in SanJose near Cupertino/SantaClara mid-Feb $1200/mo

We are renting one bedroom (furnished) in our 3-bedroom 2-bath house in San Jose (right off the 280 near the Stevens Creek/Saratoga Rd intersection). The rent is $1200/month (which includes utilities & internet). The room is available starting on February 16th, and we'd prefer someone who will be staying at least a few months.

There are currently three of us living the house: my husband and I (who are currently Stanford graduate students), and our other housemate who is a friend from Stanford (who has now graduated and works in the area). My husband and I share the master bedroom and its attached bathroom, and the two other bedrooms share the second bathroom. The house is spacious by Bay Area standards (~1500 square feet) with a good-sized living room and kitchen. The bedroom is furnished and the kitchen has every appliance you could need (and probably more). The house also has a washing machine and dryer inside. The location is ideal for someone commuting, and there is plenty of parking behind the house.

We are sociable, friendly people, although my husband and I spend a lot of time at work (see: graduate students). We have two cats who are super friendly (I think one of them identifies as a dog- he will run to the door and greet people when they come in). Our former roommates have generally kept them out of their rooms, however, so you won't have to interact with them if you don't want to.

Both my husband and I are finishing up our PhDs in the next few months, so we will definitely continue living here through June, and likely through the end of 2016.
