Tragically (for us), luckily (for you), one of our lovely housemates is moving out in the near future, so we’re beginning the search for an excellent new housemate (or the right couple) to take her place.
The room available is the spacious master bedroom (~300 ft2) of a 3-bedroom house, with independent entrance private bathroom, huge walk-in closet, as well as separate studio office unit in the backyard. Also includes private parking space in the garage and large storage capabilities.
We’re laid-back, considerate early-thirties folk--one postdoc and one teacher--who are busy with work and often traveling. Sometimes, we go a whole, sad week without crossing paths. However, when we’re at home, we love cooking up a good meal, maybe sharing a bottle of wine, and catching up on life. We’d prefer a roommate or roommates who will enjoy occasionally being social with us and the excellent, house-trained cat who has adopted us.
You are easy going and communicative, solution-oriented, and respectful of other people. You are willing to participate in practical aspects, like take out the trash and recycling once in a while and cleaning occasionally. Also, you want to share a dinner and a beer with us from time to time and discuss about house issues or just hang out.
