I would like to sell my used Mongoose XR-75 bicycle. It is perfect for getting around campus, or even to downtown palo alto. I have maintained the bike quite well over the past year. Of course there is some rust on the nonessential components - consider it an added bonus to fend of thieves looking for shiny new bikes :-)
I have upgraded the pedals, replaced both the front/rear inner tubes with the thick, puncture resistant tube, tightened up the cables on the gears, kept the chain and gears oiled, and I added a rear fender to protect you from rainwater splashing up from the back tire.
I purchased it for $110 and invested about $25 in new parts + my own labor.
