$390. SHARE COLLAGE TERRACE HOUSE WITH STANFORD PROF

Hi:

I have a 2 bedroom house in wonderful College Terrace and I am hoping to identify a house mate who would be interested in sharing my house at a reduced rent in exchange for 3.5 hour/week of household help.

About me:

I am a retired Stanford professor in the School of Medicine. I broke my hip in a bike accident 2.5 years ago and unfortunately I still require a little help such as removing the trash, light house keeping, watering the garden and getting to doctors appointments. These activities have averaged 3.5 hours/week.

Prior to my bike accident I was an avid skier, tennis player, and runner. The graduate student who presently shares the house with me will be leaving at the end of August when he completes his graduate studies.

At a more personal level, I am politically and socially liberal and prefer home-cooked dinners with wine. I play both the cello and piano.

About the house and room:

The house is a 2-bedroom one bath charming cottage on a quite street with friendly neighbors. The parking is ample and restricted to residents. The house has hardwood floors, a fireplace and is furnished with a TV, dish washer, washer/dryer, internet and a grand piano. The bedroom opens onto a wooden deck that overlooks a vegetable garden and mature citrus trees.

A well behaved and friendly pet would be welcomed

The utilities and internet are shared at approximately $100/month/person
