$680 Furnished Room in House Close to Downtown Palo Alto and Stanford

I am moving, and my room will be available for rent March 4th or 5th. The room is located in a large, eclectic, old house on Embarcadero Road in Palo Alto, shared with other Stanford students, international students, and young professionals. It's in a great neighborhood, and is only a short walk to downtown Palo Alto and quick bike ride to Stanford. It's the perfect place for a visiting student.

The room itself is a small size, but cozy. It comes furnished with a full/double size bed, desk, and table/dresser. (Note, the picture was taken before I moved out, so it has slightly different furniture). The room also has a nice window seat and a closet.

You would share a large bathroom with a few other housemates, and there is also a large kitchen that is also shared. The house has a "lived-in" feel. A free washer/dryer is available. All utilities (including cable) are included in a $40 utility fee/month. Rent is $680/month and is month-to-month (+$40 utilities). The other residents in the house are a wonderful and interesting group of people, including international students, grad students, etc, who enjoy good conversation and a gathering every now and then, but are all very quiet and respectful.

The room will be available March 4th or 5th. Or, if you need a slightly later date, that can probably work too. Also, if you just need temporary accommodations, the room can be available to you for March alone (or, of course, you can stay longer).
