$740 for one bedroom in a 5 bedroom house in Palo Alto

Hi!

We have a room available in a sweet five-bedroom rented house. The other 4 roommates are all professionals in their 20s: two guys working in the tech industry, one guy working in graphic design, and a girl working for a cool nonprofit. We're looking for one more roommate to move in July 1st (date negotiable) who can commit to a 1 year lease. We'd also like a female for gender balance. Here are some details:

House is at 2543 Louis in Palo Alto. It's about a ten minute bike ride from campus.

AMENITIES:

• room is 10x12 feet
• large kitchen.
• 2-car garage.
• dishwasher and garbage disposal.
• indoor bike rack.
• laundry/drier in garage.
• tons of indoor and outdoor storage space.
• gargantuan backyard (1/2 acre!).
• ample free parking in driveway and on street.
• nice landlady (takes care of business then kindly gets out of our way).

HOUSE ENVIRONMENT:

• fun, social, but not a party house
• pretty clean and tidy, but not immaculate
• garage amenable to personal projects, working on cars/bikes, etc.
• The house is surprisingly quiet given how close it is to highway 101!
• pet-free.
• use Palo Alto Green energy program (all solar/wind electricity) and vegetarian-friendly.
• good for studying, chilling, cooking, gardening, hosting dinner parties, etc.
• not good for all-night keggers or a hygiene-impaired existence ;-)
