Respectful, clean non-smoking female roommate needed for a spacious room in a 4BR/2BA house. The other housemates are really friendly females in their early 20s who recently graduated from Stanford, Duke, and UC Berkeley and work for Google and a venture-funded startup.

• Right next to the recently-constructed Permanente Creek Trail. A bike ride from the MV caltrain, a 15min drive from Stanford, and grocery stores are a short walk away.
• Room is really large (about 11x17), carpeted, and has a large closet with mirrored doors
• Bathroom is shared with 2 other housemates
• Water/garbage/electricity+gas are split equally among the housemates
• High-speed internet is free
• Refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and indoor washer/dryer

One caveat is that the next-door neighbor occasionally smokes and grills food outside. The windows are double-paned and keep out the cigarette smoke, but some days a faint smell of BBQ smoke can be detected in the room by those with sensitive smell. The housemate who is currently in this room had pre-existing respiratory problems and is extra sensitive/needs to move elsewhere, hence why this posting is up.

A short description of our house culture so you know what we're like! Our top priority is to find someone who would be a good fit.

-None of us drink
-We observe quiet hours after 10pm and are very respectful of a housemate's needs (if you have special requests for quiet hours or tidiness we're happy to oblige)
-For quiet hours we don't talk in the living room, e.g. we take phonecalls to our bedrooms after 10pm
-If we have friends over at the house, we make sure to observe quiet hours
-If we're bringing a friend/ boyfriend over regularly, we check with the other housemates if this would be okay first, and respect their needs
-We cook- the kitchen is pretty spacious and sometimes we cook together
