$825 – Looking for roommate! Large room in nice EPA home

Available August 17 for one person. Large room in safe East Palo Alto neighborhood in 3 bedroom, 1 bath home close to Highway 101, Dumbarton Bridge, Facebook, Google, Stanford, IKEA, Starbucks, Jamba Juice, EPA Free Shuttle, Marguerite shuttle, and more! Home has fresh paint, newly refinished floors, new furnishings, new appliances, new countertops, and a nice backyard (with a hammock and BBQ).

The bedroom is 11’ x 13’ with a large window and is furnished with a full bed, nightstand, dresser, desk, and desk chair. Room also has a large closet. Rent includes in-home washer and dryer, cable television, Internet, and Netflix. Roommate will split cost for electricity and gas (~$20/each/month).

Roommate will share a bathroom, living room, dining room, and kitchen with two roommates. We are both women in our 20s and graduate students at Stanford. We are easy-going and down-to-Earth. We are looking for a roommate who has a steady source of income and is willing to clean his/her fair share of the common areas. Roommate is welcome to have guests over from time-to-time, but should be respectful of noise level. Overall, our ideal roommate is tidy, responsible, and friendly. No pets and no cigarette smokers.

First month’s rent plus $400 security deposit needed for move-in on August 17. 12 month lease preferred, then month-to-month after that. I am flexible about the length of the lease and the exact move-in date (it can be pushed back a little). Please email me with questions and include a little bit about yourself.
