$900 room in Redwood City duplex with garden

I'm offering my room to sublet for August 2015 (and potential July) in a newly remodeled duplex in Redwood City, about halfway between San Jose and SF. The house is great, a 2br/1ba duplex with new appliances: W/D, dishwasher, big bay windows and nice outdoor garden, grill and front deck. There’s a garden in the front with 9 organic tomato plants in the ground that should produce all summer if watered once weekly. It’s a 5 minute bike ride from Redwood City Caltrain.

The other room is being subletted by a friendly, easygoing, outdoorsy French woman ecologist who is working at USGS for the summer.

It's a friendly neighborhood with easy access to highways 101 or 280. Street parking for cars is available (no permits required). Great restaurants and nightlife nearby, accessible by bike, and easy access to Stanford, SF, Santa Cruz, and redwoods by car, or bike, for the avid biker:) I've bike all around the hills and over to the coast and can advise on good routes if you're interested. There are gardening spots available for those who like very local foods, and a Whole Foods, Safeway and Segonia Farmer's Market (open daily) less than a mile from the house.

Rent is $900 + $100 utilities. Room is about 11'x11'. Can be furnished or unfurnished with double bed, small dresser and closet. Best if you don't come with lots of things, but there is a garage with some space for storage. House is fully furnished otherwise, and kitchen is fully equipped. The living room has a screen that can be hooked up for TV viewing. It gets great natural light all day yet stays relatively cool due to good insulation. Perfect combo for summer.
