I’m looking for a roommate for my two bedroom apartment in Mountain View. The available room is about 11x10 ft. and easily fits a full or queen size bed, plus a couple other substantial items of furniture. The unit includes a dishwasher, washer/dryer, air conditioning, and tandem parking. Street parking is also available. The apartment is (mostly) furnished but the room is not. Move in date would be July 1.
Rent is $925 a month, with an initial security deposit of $350. Utilities (PG&E, internet, cleaning service) run about $90/person per month.
The apartment is located about six miles away from Stanford and about one mile away from Mountain View's Castro Street and the San Antonio Shopping Center. The complex is small, with a nice outdoor area, pool, and communal BBQ.
About me: I am in my late twenties and work at Stanford. I have been living at this apartment for the last two years. I enjoy running, watching hockey, and curling up with a good book or television series.
About you: Looking for a respectful, considerate individual who is interested in a long-term situation (no summer sublets, please). Must be ok with cats. Fans of Radiolab, Parks & Rec, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Terry Pratchett strongly encouraged to apply!
