$950 Rainbow Mansion community seeks housemate

Come join a community of driven, international, passionate and socially conscious people in Silicon Valley. We are between the ages of 24-35 and looking for a creative, respectful addition to our home. We have a vision of a house that is a real community, where cooking and dinner parties are frequent, where the common space is used for brainstorming, philosophizing, and collaborating, where we all have different skills and ideas to bring to the discussions, and where we are all passionate about doing good in the world!

Currently we are a group of 7 living in the house: we work at NASA, Tesla, Microsoft, Google, Stanford, and some of us work at startups. We currently have an even number of men and women. We are from the US, Moldova, Canada, and the UK but would like to diversify!!

We really care about each other, and are very inclusive in our social circles. We have some pretty memorable events including: Super Happy Dev House (Hacker Parties), Yuri's Night parties, movie nights, Halloween parties, BBQs, NASA retreats, business brainstorms and company off-sites at the Mansion.

Basics:

• Library filled with thousands of books, large fireplace, nice art and a stately chandelier
• Music room with a grand piano, keyboard, guitars and didgeridoos
• A "mystery room" which is a cross between a moroccan lounge and a hookah room
• Media room with projector (server with plenty of movies) and a fully-stocked bar which is perfect for entertaining.
• Kitchen with granite countertops, island, and wine racks stocked by the house sommelier. The kitchen has all of the gadgets that you can (or can't) imagine. There is also a BBQ area outside.
• Laundry room with washer, dryer and ironing etc
• HUGE garage which we use as a workshop to make cool shit (think Burning Man tricycles, automated bars and submarines)!

Most importantly, the house has 15 sinks! OMG!

• Guest room for friends and family that sleeps up to 5
• House backs on to Steven's Creek Park, which is beautiful for hiking (and has some wineries just the other side :o)
• At the entrance of our house, we have a bridge, over a pond full of sharks that resemble koi
• Beautifully landscaped front and backyard- wild turkeys and deer often visit us :)
• Million dollar view of the valley with plenty of parking spots for the house

Location

• Right off the 85 in Cupertino with easy access to the 280 and 101
• 10 minutes to Apple
• 15 minutes to Mountain View
• 20 minutes to Palo Alto and Downtown San Jose
