The room for rent is an 18x13 bedroom with a private bathroom, a large walk-in closet, full bath, fully carpeted floor, private entrance and has been recently painted. You also have the option to purchase existing queen bed/furniture/air conditioner at a good price if you are interested. Rent is $980 + utilities. Preferred move-in date: June 1, 2009.

This is a big house located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Palo Alto with 6 bedrooms (6 roomies) 5 bathrooms, a big kitchen, a living room, a laundry room, a dining room, a ballroom that we occasionally use for parties, a garden with a 30-foot long pool and a shed for extra storage. There is WiFi-DSL if you are interested. It's an easy 3 mile bike or car ride to the Stanford campus, just a couple of miles from two Caltrain stations and is close to either the 280 or 101 for the work commuter. Also the neighborhood is quite peaceful; it's tree lined and close to parks and tennis courts.

You will share the house with 5 other roommates with a diversity of jobs, interests, occupations and cultures. Our place has a very respectful, enriching and comfortable atmosphere and we are looking for a roommate with a similar outlook. A little about us??????
The roommates are a bunch of diverse individuals but we are all pretty laid back and easy going. All of us live active lives and are either professionals or going to the university. Our age ranges from mid twenties and thirties. Historically, this had been a great place for people to stay through their grad school or professional training. Pretty much all of us enjoy the outdoors, good food, good conversation, and friendly camaraderie.
