The apartment was recently renovated. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, within walking distance to Santa Cruz Av, Trader Joe's, Peet's, Draeger's, Safeway, in addition to all of downtown Menlo Park, restaurants, Caltrain station, Cafe Borrone, Guild Cinema, banks, post office, community park, public library, etc. Short biking distance to the Stanford Campus (~5 min), Stanford Shopping Mall and the Medical Center. There is private parking with storage space. On-site laundry. No smoking, no pets.

The apartment complex is very pretty and well-kept, with careful landscaping and a water fountain.The apartment has a large living room, spacious bathroom and fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops. The living room and kitchen have furniture.Very nice hardwood floors run throughout the apartment. There is also a private garden for barbecues, reading, relaxing, etc.

The room is not furnished, but is quite substantial in its size and has a large in-wall storage closet; all you'll need is a bed/inflatable mattress. I can also arrange some temporary furniture for you until you settle down.

Current roommate: Stanford graduate, early 30's, laid back, clean, friendly, very considerate and easy to get along with.

The current rent is $825 per month + utilities (no more than $50 a month). The lease term is month-to-month. The security deposit is one month rent.
