Mattress and box spring were bought new about 18 months ago for $850. They are in very good condition. They belong to a roommate who moved out of state.
The roommate was a consultant who was travelling a lot, so the bed has been slept on for only 6 months or so.
The make is Simmons BeautyRest Studio, and this is a firm mattress.
It is still impeccably clean. Our apartment has no bedbugs and no pets either.
