Amazing Palo Alto House w/ Unfurnished Single Room/Shared Bathroom Ava

We have an unfurnished, single room available in our updated 4-bdrm, 3-bathroom, 1-story house in Palo Alto.
The monthly rent is $1575 + bills and the room is open to lease and move-in this August 1, 2020.

We are looking for someone to join the house for the remaining of the 1-year lease until May 31, 2021.

We are looking for someone to commit for the 10-months remaining on the lease until May 31, 2021.
At the end of the lease, the roommate can decide whether they want to move-out or renew with the rest of the 3 other housemates for the start of another 1-year lease commitment.

The Room
-The room has hard wood floors, an ensuite closet, and can fit a queen size bed with room for a nightstand and bookshelf/study desk at ~10.5x12ft.
-It gets great natural light from a window and has its own private sliding glass door entry-point in and out of the house to the backyard.
-It shares a full, modern bathroom with 1 other respectful, professional housemate who currently is a postdoc at Stanford (male), and both rooms have their own entrance door to the bathroom.
-Spacious walk-in shower has updated tile.
-The bedroom itself comes unfurnished and you need to bring your own kitchen tools (we have limited shared cutlery, plates, and pans available).
-The house common areas (living and dining room) are fully furnished.
-There is a large closet with a washer and dryer. The access to the washer and dryer closet is through the room so whoever is in the room needs to be comfortable with the other housemates coming in to do laundry at scheduled times set by the housemate living in this room.

Rent
-Rent is $1575 and includes the room (unfurnished), access to the rest of the furnished house included updated kitchen, and garage storage (for bikes and suitcases).
-Additional costs include utilities ($80-90/person a month), 1GB high-speed Internet and google chrome for streaming TV ($29/person a month), and maid services every 2-3 weeks (~$30/ person per service)

House
-This modern house is a spacious 2000+ sq ft and was fully renovated with hard wood floors, all new kitchen and bathrooms, new appliances including a new fridge, dishwasher, oven, and large high-efficiency LG clothes washer and dryer.
-The contemporary kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances including a gas stove and oven, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and microwave.
-There is a sizable, fully furnished living room and dining room area with an open floor plan and nice natural light. Includes a huge round dining table, comfy couch set, coffee table and 3 bar stools.
-60-inch Samsung TV with basic cable and google chromecast
-High-efficiency large LG clothes washer and dryer in the house
-Central A/C and heater
-Free street car parking, tons available in front of the house and no through-street traffic.
-Garage for parking bikes and storage and small backyard area
-Price includes bi-weekly landscaping for the house
-Clean house that stays clean with the shared maid service!

Location
-Amazing location in Palo Alto on Park Blvd (between Alma St and El Camino).
-Walking distance (0.7m) to main street of California Ave and the California Ave CALTRAIN stop.
-There are multiple grocery stores (Mollie Stone, Grocery Outlet, Whole Foods, Trader Joe, Safeway, Sprouts, Target), restaurants, and shopping nearby around California Ave, El Camino and Alma st
-Centrally located, especially for those looking to go to Stanford and downtown Palo Alto.
-10-20min bike ride to Univ Ave and Stanford campus depending on where on campus you are going.
-Overall very bike friendly and near Palo Alto bike path.
-Easy access to tech HQs such as Palantir, Google, and Facebook.

Housemates
The other housemates are all laid-back, respectful, and generally busy, working professionals in their late 20s/early 30s.
I, Paya, am a female professional and manage the house. I am originally from Austin, TX, went to Harvard University and came out to the Bay Area from NYC to work in private equity and invest in tech companies.
Another housemate Will (male, late 20s) is originally from Marin County in the Bay Area and works at J.P. Morgan in Private Banking. In his spare time he enjoys exploring the Peninsula and playing and creating board games.
The current 3rd housemate, Evgeny (male, 32), is from Switzerland, went to grad school at UC Santa Barbara, and is PhD postdoc in Physics at Stanford University. For fun he likes to go swing dancing, cooking, playing complex board games and listening to podcasts. Evgeny is who you would be sharing the bathroom with for the month of August.

We are looking for another professional/grad student, non-smoking housemate who is ideally laid-back and clean in common spaces.
Either male or female is fine.
No smoking inside and we do shoes off inside the common areas.
Sorry, no pets and no live-in partners, room is only for 1 person.
