Hello,
We're looking for someone to stay in our big sunny room while we're away at a family wedding. It's a very pleasant space to stay, four blocks from downtown, less than a mile from Stanford, and full of fantastic roommates.

The Space
This gorgeous, second floor room has real hardwood floors, sturdy wooden doors, and brass hardware everywhere. It's vibrantly decorated with eye catching colors and there are lots of plants. There are two large closets, one of which will have space available for you to hang up your things, and abundant floor space for luggage in both. The very comfortable bathroom is dashed with crisp daylight in the morning and offers a view towards University Avenue. You'll be sharing the bathroom with two roommates who are very tidy. In addition to the bedroom you'll have access to a large and accommodating living room, full use of the kitchen and the front porch, which is a soothing place to sit and read. Finally, let me introduce you to our back yard. It is enormous, and the best. It includes a bench swing, a fire pit replete with tiki torches and comfortable chairs, a vegetable garden, a second garden with lots of interesting things growing in it, a lawn with a nice glass table for entertaining or taking meals, and two hammocks! When you're viewing them from the front porch, it is literally appropriate to consider the hammocks to be off in the distance. It is a very long lot. The Neighborhood
Our neighborhood is so nice. There is a variety of houses and interesting gardens. University Avenue offers a ton of great dining options, bars, convenient retail stores, pharmacies, the whole gamut.

Getting around
We're conveniently located seven blocks from the Palo Alto Caltrain Station. Very walkable!

Other Things to Note
The people living here are friendly, vastly intelligent, and yet super approachable. They also know when you just need some privacy. In fact, I'd say that it is to a remarkable degree the way being up on the second floor offers peaceful sanctuary. Not that the downstairs is chaotic, it's just unstoppable fun!

Flexibility and Cost
We are open to being flexible with the timing of your arrival and usage of the room and can price accordingly. If you are able to stay the full 17 days though, it's only $58.82/day!
