My family and I are moving out of state in mid-June, and leaving our great 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment in Palo Alto. It's very conveniently located on Curtner Avenue, right by Park Boulevard, making it an easy bike ride to Stanford's campus and many other spots in the area. It's also walking distance to California Avenue and good take-out, and for those of you with children, several parks with great playgrounds (e.g., Mitchell and Peers Park) and several highly recommended family daycares.
The apartment is in a 4-unit building. It is a two floor apartment: bedrooms and full bath upstairs; kitchen, living room, and half-bath downstairs. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and disposal. The apartment also has a small patio, which is big enough for a grill, and bike and stroller storage. Overall the apartment has great storage for a 2 bedroom (full closets in both bedrooms, linen closet upstairs, under-stairs storage downstairs, and a locked storage unit in the carport). It comes with one parking spot in the carport, and the 4 units share a laundry room.
Our neighbors have been great, and the building tends to house lots of Stanford folks (our current neighbors are Stanford grad students). Our landlords are also wonderful, responsive, and very thoughtful. We're posting here to help them find new tenants.
