Hi SU Post
There is an unfurnished bedroom for rent in our spacious San Francisco apartment. The whole apartment is 3 bedrooms/ 2 baths and located in the Inner Richmond. (Google map: http://bit.ly/15GF0jK)
Rent is $700, and the room is for one person only. Utilities are approximately $50/month. Deposit is $750. The room is available starting April 1st-10th (there is some flexibility there, and earlier might also be possible). We are looking for a longer-term roommate—i.e. someone who wants to stay at least 6 months to a year.
If you're interested, hopefully you are: Clean and considerate. Financially stable. Around our ages. Fun, but don't bring the party home. Non-smoker, and without pets. (We love dogs, but they aren't allowed.) You should also be social and friendly, i.e. game for dinners together every now and then or just hanging out.
About the roommates:
M: 29 year old male. Stanford Master's graduate (Class of 2011), and currently working downtown for a solar power company. Outside of work, I spend my weekends mountain biking and rock climbing. (Bonus points if you’re outdoorsy too!) I also check out SF's amazing music/restaurant/bar scene from time to time.
D: 28 year old male. Currently a Master's student at SF State, studying physics. I'm relatively new to SF and enjoy exploring the city on my bike. I read a lot, watch a lot of movies, and enjoy playing chess, tennis, and piano. I also speak German (all too seldom).
About the room: It's a good-size room, approximately 13' x 11.5' (~150 sq. ft), carpeted and with a large (6' x 3') closet. You'll be sharing a bathroom with only one other person, as the master bedroom has its own bathroom.
About the apartment: The apartment is on the top floor of a two apartment building. We have an eat-in kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a proper living room with 46" TV for movie nights, and a dining room that's currently used for storing camping gear and other sports equipment. In addition to the apartment there is space for storing bikes in the garage.
About the location: walking distance to restaurants and bars on Clement Street as well as Golden Gate Park, there's a 38 Bus Stop on our corner, and we're one block from Park Presidio for a quick drive down to 280/101.
Thanks for reading all the way to the bottom. If you're interested please send an email that
(1) tells us why you’re interested in this apartment
(2) tells us a little bit about yourself
Last, but not least, please put the words "Go Cardinal" in the subject of your email.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
