The bedroom is completely furnished and offers all the luxuries of a hotel room. Queen-sized bed with luxury mattress, nightstands, dresser with mirror, large desk/workstation, comfortable office chair. 32 inch LED smart-tv with Netflix, ultra-high-speed wireless internet, DirectTV with Premium Package (Sports, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc). Luxury bed-linens (400 thread count sheets), down comforter and pillows and towels provided. Walk-in closet with laundry hamper, wooden hangers, ironing board and iron provided.
The home has an updated bathroom with terrific shower, large spacious kitchen with dishwasher, full laundry facilities, and a kitchen stocked with all the necessary cooking paraphernalia. I keep the home immaculately clean- and I have a regular housekeeping service. The home also has a lovely garden, with outdoor dining/grilling, sun-loungers to soak up the California sunshine!
The shared living space has a dining area, bar, massive sectional sofa, arm-chair, 60inch LED TV, wood-burning fireplace used often in the winter,
About me: Mid-career, married (gay) PhD student/researcher at Stanford in my mid-30s. Kind, gregarious and considerate of others. I also am a proud parent of the world's greatest dog- a 5 year old Irish Terrier (non-shedding, hypoallergenic, intensely-loving) called Malcolm.
The room is available for short-term rental. Looking for clean, tidy, professional, friendly respectful people. Must love dogs. Prefer people who are similarly health and fitness oriented- absolutely no-smokers allowed- but that also enjoy a good meal and a glass of wine from time to time. For shorter-term stays, couples are also welcome (for a slightly higher price- an additional $50 per week).
