Beautiful room with en-suite private bath close to Stanford

This is a freshly remodeled and furnished suite on the second floor of a single family home in one of Palo Alto's nicest neighborhoods. Quiet street, close to Rinconada Park, University Avenue, Town & Country. We, the owners (academic at Stanford + Silicon Valley professional + 2 kids + a dog), are living on the first floor. We are renting out two rooms on the second floor. Over the years we had many Stanford post graduates and academics stay with us.

You enter the house through the main entry door and you proceed over the hard wooded hallway to the staircase that takes you to the second floor. You will have a lot of privacy upstairs. This suite has a private bath which opens from your own room. The suite is fully furnished with plenty of storage. There is a large desk, shelving, a queen bed, a full wardrobe, a 6 ft closet and a couch with built in storage. There are 2 other rooms on the same floor, one of which we are using as an office (infrequently), and the other as a room that we also rent out occasionally. We are providing a refrigerator, freezer and a microwave for the use of our guests on the second floor. There is no full kitchen. There is a washer and dryer on the first floor which you are welcome to use on a chosen weekday. We do not allow overnight guests in your room, but if one of the other rooms is available, your guest is welcome to rent it. You will enjoy great view of the garden, but there is no access to it.

Rent is $1,850 per month. This includes a weekly cleaning service, internet, utilities and the washer and dryer. One month deposit. Three months minimum. Single occupancy only. No pets. No smoking. Shoes off in the house.
