There is an opening in our three bedroom house in West Menlo Park! We are seeking either an individual housemate or a couple who would share a master bedroom.
The home is close to the Sharon Park neighborhood (close to Stanford, 5 min by car, 10 min by bike). There is also a Safeway supermarket 5 minutes down the road. Scott and I are both Stanford graduate students and have lived in the house for the last three years. We have had a mix of housemates (and housedogs) over the years. Sadly, our current housemate and her dog are leaving us for the east coast, but my dog Sadie is still here and looking for a new friend. (If you have a dog that would be great!)
The house has two bathrooms (two showers), three bedrooms (including the master), a washer/dryer, a large kitchen, a very large living room, and an even larger fenced yard with outdoor deck. We use the garage for storage space.
A room is available starting June 13. The rent is $1500 for an individual in the smaller bedroom, and $2000 for a couple in the master bedroom. I am the main tenant on the lease and your contract would be a sublease (month-to-month or yearly, negotiable). This does not include utilities (water/electricity/internet), which we split evenly.
