Bungalow Bedroom in Redwood City

A bungalow bedroom is available. It is a 10x13 ft bedroom with 6 foot closet. It is located at the top level of the yard with a deck and view over the surrounding homes. It has air conditioning, heater, but does not have its own bathroom. The occupant would have full access to the main house, kitchen, bathroom, and living space which is just a short walk down stairs. The room may be available by May 15, but certainly by June 1.

This home is located in a beautiful, quite, secure, residential neighborhood in lower Emerald Hills, Redwood City, just off the Alameda along the best bike path on the peninsula. Stanford, Kaiser and Sequoia hospitals are close by. Public transportation abounds. The Amtrak connects with Bart in Millbrae making the SF airport just a short ride away. You can ride the train to downtown San Francisco to top tech companies or take in a Giants game. Whole Foods, Safeway and other shopping and food options are available and many within walking distance. There is ample street parking. You will be sharing a home and will have access to the kitchen, laundry, and a large back yard, garden and patio suitable for a BBQ. WiFi is provided and utilities are included. You must love dogs. 2 dogs occasionally visit. However, no other pets will be allowed.

Presently the household consists of two graduate students and the homeowner. We are a close, non-smoking, very clean, quiet group with no drama. The location is within the 30 minutes from Stanford, if your job requires it. This is a good living situation for a professional, a student who requires some solitude for studying. A minimum of 6 months occupancy is required. First month rent, cleaning/security deposit, employment verification, and background check will be required.
