ah spring break... it's that time yet again. i'm sure between midterms and finals and that hint of california spring you've had TONS o' time to plan your glorious week escape from the farm... errr, or not.
but oh do i have a plan for you.
instead of hiding in a cave and over indulging in your needy self pity (cue images of shameless interneting and a mountain of empty potato chip bags and diet coke cans in your corner) ... my advice is to get off your ass (then again, you go to Stanford... this concept of 'inactivity' is probably totally foreign... maybe i should be posting this for the berkeley kids...hmmm) and hit the road.
you heard right: get off your cushy overly academic bottom and get yourself out there.
there is a great big old country at your doorstep... and in case you don't frequent the urban outfitters t-shirt stands i'll fill you in on the hype: patriotism is totally in. so come on cowboy, gear up your spurs and hop in my car. america!!
here is my offer: i have a beautiful jetta (2000 leather seats automatic runs great, insured) that needs to be transported from the west coast to the east coast (unless of course you know someone who would want to purchase this sweet machine for SUPER low cost in CA... call me!!!). I would pay for the gas, and your plane ticket back west. you are left to pick up the hotel, camping ground, amusement park entrance fees... more than fair yes? the car optimally needs to reach boston, but if new york or philadelphia or maine is what strikes your fancy, i'm more than willing to strike a deal. i've got friends in different area codes that could help orchestrate this cross country rat race.
