This is a classic among classic road bikes - a vintage 1975 Schwinn Suburban. With 10 speeds, this is a terrific ride for casually getting around campus, whizzing through 10 mile ride, and even cruising up slopes. The bike has been recently given a full-body tune-up including over $70 worth of new brake pads, new housing, and all brake/gear cables replaced. There are scratches to the frame, but nothing to interfere with the structure or functionality at all; this Suburban rides and shifts EXTREMELY smoothly while sporting a suave rich mahogany frame, "old school" structure, stolid wheels, and a truly snazzy lever gear-shifting mechanism. The bike is made of thin yet sturdy steel (meaning road bumps are less noticeable compared to an aluminum frame bike ride) and yet it is light enough to carry up stairs. With adjusting of the seat and depending on leg length, this bike could fit anyone between 5'7" and 6'1" or so.
