Private entrance to your room through the garden--you won't have to enter the main house and bump into me.
Room also leads directly into the bathroom (shared with only one person)--almost like a private bathroom attached to room.
These are the highlights--privacy and solitude in a garden setting in a quiet neighborhood.
No access to the rest of the house. Thus, no housemates to bump into.

However, the room has a microwave, refrigerator, small freezer--and is thus, great for someone who does not want to do regular cooking.
Room is well-lit, adequately furnished, cross-windows, door opens to the outdoors and great for summer sitting.

Two blocks away is an upscale shopping mall with Starbucks, grocery store, laundry, bagel shop, restaurant, bank, gym, laundromat, etc.
Parking in front of the house if you'll have a car, or, just outside the gate are buses going to downtown Palo Alto and close to Stanford. Believe there is also a Stanford bus.

Cable is free, WiFi and utilities reduced to $45/month, waived if renting for entire school year.
First and last required. Refundable $100 cleaning deposit due upon moving-in.
