Room also leads directly into the bathroom (shared with only me, older woman psychologist).
These are the highlights--privacy and solitude in a garden setting in a quiet neighborhood.

No access to the rest of the house. Thus, no housemates to bump into.
However, the room has a microwave, small freezer, and small refrigerator--and is therefore great for someone who does not need a kitchen.
Room is well-lit, adequately furnished with a twin bed, cross-windows, door opens to the outdoors and great for summer sitting.
Room is currently being painted, renovated. Ready March 1st.

Two blocks away is an upscale shopping mall with Starbucks, grocery store, laundry, bagel shop, restaurant, bank, gym, etc. A clean Laundromat is just two short walking blocks away.

Parking guaranteed in front of the house.
Bus stop right outside the house, buses go downtown, train station, and Stanford.

WiFi and utilities included.
First and last month’s rent. Refundable security deposit.
